The Beer Army Outpost covers 3000 square feet and houses the largest selection of beer in New Bern and the surrounding areas. It features the Beer Army Draft Depot and the Beer Army Bottle Armory.
The Draft Depot has one beer engine, ten rotating taps with two being nitro taps and a 50 foot solid oak bar. We currently have 500+ different beers in bottles and cans in the Bottle Armory. It is our goal to have over 1000 different brands by the end of 2012 and the largest selection of North Carolina brand beers in the state. Here you are able to mix your own six-packs or cases. You can also peruse our vast selection while enjoying a sample or pint from the Draft Depot.
You will find the current draft list of what is on tap at the Beer Army Draft Depot in the right hand column of this website. It is updated daily and you can see what is on deck to be tapped next.
The following is our weekly line up of events:
Markdown Mondays- Special prices on various bottled products throughout the store.
Trivia Night Tuesdays- Answer enough questions correctly and win a prize.
Brewery Glass Wednesdays- Get a featured brewery's pint glass free with your first pint purchased.
M.O.A.B. Night Thursdays- We take a beer and run it through a filter containing vanilla beans, fresh hops, wood chips, or anything else that tickles our fancy; this infuses the beer and really creates something unique and one of a kind.
Of course we also have various beer tastings throughout the month, local brew club meetings and other crazy ideas. Want to stay up to date on our plans and special events? Simple! Become a member of BeerArmy.com, sign up for our newsletter, like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter. You can also check out our events page link at the top.
Having trouble finding us? Don't worry, you are not alone and it isn't some crazy communist plot to keep you from good beer. Your GPS or online mapping service may simply not show our correct position. We are located directly across the highway from Coastal Carolina Regional Airport as depicted on the map below.
