What do you get when Oktoberfest meets the south? The Jacktober Brew & Tune Fest! Jacksonville will be hosting their inaugural outdoor beer and music festival at New River Harley-Davidsion on September 18, 2010 from noon to 10 PM. This nine acre venue sits right across from the Marine Corps Air Station New River and is a perfect setting for our affiliated charity.

You must be 18 + to party and 21 + to drink. Advance ticket sales for Beer Army members will go right here on 28 August at 8 AM. Not a Beer Army member? No problem, membership is free so sign up today! Ticket sales to the public will go on 1 September at 8 AM right here and the select ticket outlets listed below. General Admission tickets will cost $15 in advance, $20 day of. VIP tickets will cost $60 in advance, $75 day of and are available online only. VIP tickets include unlimited draft beer, water and soda, food, $20 donation to the Marine Aviation Memorial Tower, covered VIP pavilion area next to the stage with seating and tables, and private bathrooms.

We are excited to be associated with and raising money for the Marine Corps Aviation Association McCutcheon Squadron in this inaugural event. The MCAA McCutcheon Squadron is a non-profit charity whose mission is to erect the nation's first Marine Aviation Memorial Tower at Marine Corps Air Station New River. This memorial is a tribute to 100 years of Marine aviation and honors all warriors regardless of service branch affiliation that have made the ultimate sacrifice while flying in Marine aircraft.

The ticket is a revocable license, which is subject to termination with denial of admission at the discretion of Beer Army LLC and its partners (collectively referred to as “hosts”). You will be denied admission or removed from the premises without compensation should the ticket holder act in a disorderly manner or violate the hosts rules or endanger the safety of other patrons. The hosts may stop serving the holder beverages without compensation at any point the ticket holder appears intoxicated. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to before, during, and after the Festival. Ticket holder agrees that the facility and hosts are not responsible or liable for any injuries, expense, claims or liability resulting from or directly or indirectly related to the Festival. Tickets are non-refundable and the Festival will take place rain or shine.

Question: Can I bring a blanket or law chair to sit on?
Answer: Yes! Blankets, small folding lawn chairs and camping stools are highly encouraged. Please leave your Radio Flyer wagons or anything that takes more than one person to move at home.

Question: Are there designated driver tickets or passes?
Answer: No. Remember, we are trying to raise money for the Marine Aviation Memorial Tower. Have your friends all pitch in and buy your DD a ticket.

Question: Are children allowed?
Answer: No. There are no activities for children at the festival. Additionally, there will be really loud music. Your child will have plenty of opportunities to crank up their ipod and lose their hearing when they are older.

Question: What does the price of the ticket include?
Answer: Your general admission ticket includes admission into the festival. Your VIP ticket includes admission into the festival, unlimited draft beer, food, $20 donation to the Marine Aviation Memorial Tower, covered VIP pavilion area next to the stage with seating and tables, and private bathrooms.

Question: Will food be available?
Answer: Yes. There will be plenty of food vendors available with all the usual festival chow. I.E. brats, hamburgers, funnel cakes, etc.
