Nice pics in NYC.
Ok I'll be there, but I'm horrible with computors, I don't even have a Face Book acct, I went to the page you mentioned and I don't see any details except for they meet the first Sun every month. Wow I suck at this
I am leaning towards an IPA. I was never a big fan until trying a homebrew IPA. It was love at first taste. Since my hop vines are only 18 inches high I will whip something up. Do you have some cool recipes? What about a lemon IPA? That would be worth a try.
Hey man the Witbier looks great! , just in time for summer. Should be a great warm weather brew.
Thanks for the recipe buddy. Looking forward to brewing this up! What is the beer style for June's meeting? I am looking to get a head start.
Thanks James, I enjoy trying different micro/craft beers as I can find them. I've been trying some IPA's over the last year, and have started to really enjoy some of them. Will take you up on your offer sometime, look forward to it.
Thanks for inviting us. That Hop Grenade IPA was absolutely fantastic!
Three different homebrew IPAs? Yeah, I'll be there!
Got it. I'll probably rack it later tonight because of how fast the fermentation went. I really appreciate all the help and I will be sure to save you one to try.
James,
I didn't get your responce until this morning. Temp was down to 70 this morning and I'm working on bringing it down (slowly) a few more degrees. Fermentation is still happening but its really slow. Here is what I'm thinking. This is a Whiskey Barrel Stout. I have my oak chips soaking in good burboun and I will probably add them later today as the recipe says to get them in before the end of fermentation. Do you think I should add a little sugar to re-start the yeast or just rack it with the oak chips and let it ride? I'm leaning towards just adding the oak chips as I'm afraid the too much sugar may really screw with the gravity. Guess its time to reclaim my beer fridge in the garage.
