The idiot IPA was very similar to the dogfish head 60 min. Not bad at all. I'm going to the new Mellow Mushroom in Wrightsville Beach this weekend. I found out they have Greenflash beers on tap. Hopefully they have the westcoast IPA and I can give it a try. If not I'll grab one at wines and wares.

You'll be pleased to know that because of the great reviews that Hop Grenade received, I'll be brewing it to serve at Brew Bern. Hope to see you there. Also, tomorrow is the brewday for my Vintage Hall Black IPA at Front Street Brewery. I'll let you know when it's on tap.

Hi John, I really enjoyed the Mission IPA. It is one of those beers which strikes a nice balance between the malt and hops. It was not an aggressively hoppy IPA, but had plenty of hop flavor and aroma without being too bitter. I enjoyed with some spicy food, which it played well with, and also on it's own after dinner.
